There is no substitute for an in-person appointment. Fortunately, as we all respect the reality of the COVID-19 Pandemic, virtual appointments have become an effective, accurate and time saving means of providing and receiving healthcare.

Both my patients and I have enjoyed the convenience and safety of telemedicine. In my practice, I will continue to conduct virtual appointments on a frequent and regular basis. They are easy to add-in and require no travel time.

Virtual appointments: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Virtual appointments can even be performed the day of or after your call.

Virtual appointment protocol:

The morning of your appointment please obtain your vital signs (as many as possible):

  • Height,
  • Weight (if you are not a patient with an eating disorder),
  • Blood Pressure,
  • Pulse (also known as your heart rate),
  • Temperature

Five minutes prior to your appointment, you will receive a call from our Medical Assistant, Roz.

Together you will review:

  • your vitals listed above,
  • your medications,
  • any personal or family history that requires updating, and
  • the reason for your visit.

After this call is complete, you will receive a text on your cell phone.

Follow the prompts by tapping allow to all questions asked and your real-time video appointment with Dr. Gorrelick will begin.
